If you purchase a Shopiverb subscription or other paid service, payment processing may be performed through Shopify or another payment provider identified at the time of purchase.
Where a third-party payment processor handles payment information, Shopiverb does not intentionally store complete credit or debit card numbers or card security codes.
Payment providers process payment information according to their respective privacy policies and terms.
Shopiverb may retain information concerning your subscription, billing status, plan, payment status, invoices, transaction identifiers, and other records reasonably necessary for account administration, accounting, taxation, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

Where applicable law requires consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies, Shopiverb will seek appropriate consent.
Additional information may be provided in our Cookie Policy.
10. Data Security
Shopiverb takes the security of merchant and personal information seriously.
We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, unauthorized access, or misuse.
Depending upon the nature of the information and Services involved, these safeguards may include:
- Encryption of information during transmission;
- Secure authentication and authorization;
- Restricted administrative access;
- Access controls;
- Secure handling of authentication credentials and access tokens;
- Application and infrastructure monitoring;
- Logging and diagnostic systems;

11. API Credentials and Access Tokens
To maintain connections between Shopiverb and supported third-party services, Shopiverb may receive and store authentication tokens, API credentials, identifiers, or similar authorization information.
We treat authentication credentials and access tokens as sensitive information.
Such credentials are used only as reasonably necessary to operate authorized integrations, maintain connections, perform requested synchronization functions, and provide the Services.
Shopiverb does not knowingly disclose access tokens or API credentials to unauthorized parties.
If an integration is disconnected or authorization is revoked, Shopiverb will cease using the revoked authorization and will delete, invalidate, or otherwise cease relying upon the applicable credentials as appropriate and technically feasible.
12. Data Retention

Information may remain temporarily in backups or security systems until those records are deleted or overwritten through normal retention processes.
13. Account Closure, Disconnection, and Uninstallation
You may disconnect supported integrations or terminate your use of Shopiverb subject to the applicable Terms of Service.
When Shopify or Reverb is disconnected, Shopiverb will cease accessing that service using the revoked authorization.
When Shopiverb is uninstalled or an account is terminated, information associated with the account may be deleted, anonymized, or retained for a limited period where reasonably necessary for:
- Legal compliance;
- Fraud prevention;
- Security;
- Backup integrity;
- Accounting;
- Tax requirements;
- Dispute resolution;
- Enforcement of agreements; or
- Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.
Disconnecting Shopiverb does not cause information separately maintained by Shopify, Reverb, payment providers, or other third parties to be deleted from those services.

Depending upon where you live, applicable privacy laws may provide certain rights concerning your personal information.
Those rights may include the right to:
- Know whether personal information about you is being processed;

Shopiverb may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
Where Shopiverb processes personal information on behalf of a merchant, the merchant may be primarily responsible for responding to requests from its customers. In those circumstances, individuals may need to direct their request to the applicable merchant.
Shopiverb will reasonably cooperate with merchants concerning valid privacy requests when required by applicable law or platform requirements.
15. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws.

Shopiverb does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
Shopiverb does not use Shopify or Reverb merchant or customer information for unrelated cross-context behavioral advertising.
Where a state privacy law applies to Shopiverb and grants you additional rights, we will process qualifying requests as required by that law.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against an individual for exercising applicable privacy rights.
16. International Privacy Rights
Users located outside the United States may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.
Where applicable, Shopiverb processes personal information based upon an appropriate legal basis, which may include:
- Performance of a contract;
- Taking steps requested before entering a contract;
- Compliance with legal obligations;
- Shopiverb's legitimate interests;
- Protection of legal rights; or
- Consent where required.
Where consent is the legal basis for processing, you may withdraw that consent as permitted by applicable law.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing lawfully performed before consent was withdrawn.
17. International Data Transfers
Shopiverb is operated from the United States.
Information processed through Shopiverb may be transferred to, processed in, or stored in the United States or other countries where Shopiverb or its service providers operate.
Privacy and data-protection laws in those jurisdictions may differ from those in your country.
Where applicable law requires specific safeguards for international transfers of personal information, Shopiverb will use appropriate transfer mechanisms or safeguards as required by law.
18. Children's Privacy
Shopiverb is a business-oriented service designed primarily for merchants and businesses and is not directed toward children.
We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13 through Shopiverb accounts.
If we learn that personal information was collected directly from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
19. Third-Party Platforms and Services
Shopiverb integrates with services operated by third parties, including Shopify and Reverb.
Third-party platforms operate independently of Shopiverb and maintain their own terms of service, privacy policies, security practices, and data-handling practices.
Shopiverb does not control and is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party platforms.
Your use of Shopify remains subject to applicable Shopify terms and policies.
Your use of Reverb remains subject to applicable Reverb terms and policies.

- Security alerts;
- Integration notifications;

Because these communications relate to the operation or security of the Services, you may not be able to opt out of all service-related communications while maintaining an active Shopiverb account.
21. Marketing Communications
If Shopiverb sends optional promotional or marketing communications, you may unsubscribe using the mechanism provided in the communication or by contacting us.
Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not prevent us from sending necessary account, security, billing, support, or service-related communications.
Shopiverb does not use Shopify or Reverb customer data obtained through platform integrations to send unrelated marketing communications to those customers.
22. Aggregated and De-Identified Information
Shopiverb may create aggregated, statistical, or de-identified information from information processed through the Services where permitted by applicable law.
Such information may be used to understand product performance, diagnose technical problems, improve Shopiverb, measure service reliability, and develop features.
We do not attempt to re-identify information that has been properly de-identified except where permitted by applicable law for security, testing, or compliance purposes.

Where legally permitted and appropriate, Shopiverb may challenge governmental or third-party requests that we believe are invalid, excessive, or unlawful.
24. Business Transfers
If Shopiverb is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale of assets, reorganization, or similar corporate transaction, information associated with the Services may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Any such transfer will remain subject to applicable privacy and data-protection requirements.
Where required by law, affected individuals will receive appropriate notice.
25. Security Incidents and Data Breaches
If Shopiverb becomes aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate the incident and take reasonable measures appropriate to the circumstances.
Where applicable law requires notification to affected individuals, merchants, regulators, Shopify, Reverb, or other parties, Shopiverb will provide such notification in accordance with applicable requirements.
26. Do Not Track and Privacy Preference Signals
Some browsers and devices allow users to transmit privacy preference signals, including “Do Not Track” or legally recognized opt-out preference signals.
Because standards and legal requirements concerning these signals may vary, Shopiverb will respond to legally recognized preference signals where required by applicable law.
Shopiverb does not sell personal information or use Shopify or Reverb merchant/customer information for unrelated cross-context behavioral advertising.
27. Data Controller and Service Provider Roles
Depending upon the circumstances, Shopiverb may process personal information either for its own purposes or on behalf of a merchant.
For information concerning Shopiverb account holders, website visitors, billing contacts, and direct communications with Shopiverb, Shopiverb may act as the entity responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing.
For certain information originating from a merchant's Shopify or Reverb account, Shopiverb may process information on behalf of that merchant in order to provide the Services.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy alters the independent privacy obligations of merchants using Shopiverb.
Merchants remain responsible for their own privacy notices and for ensuring that their use of Shopiverb complies with laws applicable to their businesses.

Shopiverb relies on information supplied by merchants and third-party platforms.
We cannot guarantee that information received from Shopify, Reverb, merchants, or other third parties is complete, accurate, or current.
Merchants are responsible for reviewing their Shopify and Reverb accounts and verifying important product, inventory, listing, order, pricing, and fulfillment information.
